Shrimp Alfredo

Ingredients

1 lb penne or fetuccine noodles
3 tbsp butter
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails removed
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp almond flour (all-purpose is good too)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1 egg yolk
1 cup grated Parmesan
salt & pepper, to taste


Directions

1. Melt butter in large saucepan and cook minced garlic until fragrant.
2. Mix in flour until blended. Add heavy cream, milk and egg yolk. Bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan until completely melted.
3. Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce and mix. Add salt, pepper and more Parmesan if needed!
