What it is

GHK-Cu is a copper bound peptide (glycyl-histidyl-lysine) found naturally in human plasma. Levels of GHK-Cu in the body decline significantly with age, and researchers have studied its role in skin renewal, collagen production, hair follicle support, and tissue repair.

The oral tablet format delivers GHK-Cu as a daily supplement to support these systemic benefits from the inside. For patients who want the longevity and beauty support of a copper peptide protocol without the routine of a topical or injection, the oral tablet is a simple, repeatable option. Taken once daily.

Benefits patients commonly report

  • Supports collagen and elastin production

  • May support skin firmness, smoothness, and tone

  • Supports hair density and strength

  • Supports the body's natural recovery and repair processes

  • Pairs well with a topical GHK-Cu or your existing skincare protocol

A note on the beauty bridge

GHK-Cu is one of the most researched peptides for skin and hair support. It is a natural fit for the patient who came to Fitish through skincare and wants to take that same approach systemic.

What to expect

Most patients begin to notice the most visible benefits between 8 and 12 weeks of consistent daily use. Hair and skin changes tend to build gradually rather than dramatically. Side effects are uncommon and typically mild.

Who it's for

Adults focused on skin support, hair density, recovery, and graceful aging who meet clinical eligibility criteria. A licensed Fitish provider reviews every intake.

Note: A live consultation is only required if your state mandates one. Otherwise, a licensed provider will review your intake form upon submission. If anything needs clarification, your provider will message you directly. Once approved, payment is processed automatically and your prescription is sent to the pharmacy.

Safety Details

GHK-CU (COPPER TRIPEPTIDE-1) ORAL TABLETS
What is this medicine?
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide composed of glycine, histidine, and lysine bound to a copper ion. Levels of GHK-Cu in the body decline with age.

It may support skin regeneration, collagen and elastin production, and overall skin appearance.
It may have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
It may support hair follicle health and wound healing pathways.
It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your provider.

Compounded Drug Forms: oral tablet, sublingual troche, topical cream, injectable
What should I tell my health care provider before I take this medicine?

Allergy or hypersensitivity to GHK-Cu, copper, or any tripeptide ingredient
Wilson's disease or any other copper storage / metabolism disorder
Current use of copper chelating medications (such as penicillamine, trientine, or zinc acetate)
High-dose zinc supplementation (zinc and copper compete for absorption)
History of liver or kidney disease
Pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
All other prescription, over-the-counter, and supplement use, especially copper-containing multivitamins

What should the product look like?
Upon visual inspection, oral tablets should appear uniform in color (typically light blue to teal due to the copper complex), free of cracks, chips, or visible discoloration. Do not use tablets that appear damaged, faded, or contaminated.
How should I use this medicine?
Follow the package directions provided by the pharmacy and your prescriber. Your dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Follow the dosing schedule provided carefully.

For sublingual tablets: Place the tablet under the tongue and allow it to fully dissolve. Do not chew or swallow the tablet whole, as digestive enzymes and stomach acid will break down the peptide and reduce absorption. Avoid eating or drinking for 15 minutes before and after dosing for best absorption.
Take on an empty stomach (30 minutes before or 2 hours after eating) unless your provider directs otherwise.
Avoid taking at the same time as zinc supplements, calcium supplements, or copper-containing multivitamins, as these can interfere with absorption. Separate doses by at least 2 hours.
Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Do not double up if a dose is missed; resume your regular schedule with the next dose.

What should I watch for while using this medicine?

Signs of an allergic reaction: hives, blistering, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat, trouble breathing
Signs of copper imbalance: persistent metallic taste, nausea, abdominal pain, or unusual fatigue
Regular check-ups with your provider are recommended. Periodic lab work (serum copper, ceruloplasmin, and zinc levels) may be ordered if you are on long-term therapy.

What side effects or adverse drug reactions may I notice from receiving this medicine?
Possible side effects that may occur and may go away as your body gets used to the medication include:

Mild nausea or upset stomach
