About Compounded Medications
Certain prescription treatments offered through Fitish, including compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, are compounded drug products. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy pursuant to a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider.
Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. This means the FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are marketed or dispensed. FDA-approved drugs, by contrast, undergo the FDA's premarket review process for safety, effectiveness, and manufacturing quality.
The FDA does not verify the safety or effectiveness of compounded drugs. Compounded medications should only be used under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider who has determined they are appropriate for you.

Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, and Zepbound® are registered trademarks of their respective owners. Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are not generic versions, substitutes, or equivalents of any FDA-approved brand-name medication. They are distinct compounded products and have not been evaluated by the FDA for equivalence, interchangeability, safety, or effectiveness relative to any approved drug.
